Today is the 2nd Anniversary of the October 1st shooting that took place on the Las Vegas strip. We had just landed at the Airport when the shooting had started, and there where reports of a shooting at casino on the strip popping up on our phones as we made our way to our car to head home. On our way home we got caught up in the traffic as they closed the strip and the freeway near the strip, we were to turn around and go the other way and make it home safely.
This really hit home for me, as I had been at that concert venue a few times for concerts and I think what if that had happened at one of those shows.
I got this tattoo from Peter at Bad Apple Tattoo as they were doing these tattoos and other designs to show support for the victims of this horrilble event. I chose this tattoo as it meant alot to me. As I am a 3rd generation Southern Nevadan and very proud of my home state.
