As I continue my travels I stopped in Arlington, TX to pay respects to two of musicians from one of my all time favorite bands Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell from PANTERA! From the first time I heard their song “Cowboys from Hell” I was hooked, then I was to see them play live and my love for the band grew. I feel very grateful that was able to see them play live many, many times from a small club in Virginia to Arena shows. I was sad when they broke up, as a lot of bands do. I was always hopeful that they would put all their differences aside on day and come back to rock us once again. But then a guy who doesn’t deserve to be mentioned took Dimebag away from and with that any hope of a PANTERA reunion. Sure they could regrouped and went on with someone else. But no one could replace Dime, sure they could have used the same gear Dime used but they would only be coping what he did. It just wouldn’t have been the same. But now Dimebag is rocking out somewhere South of Heaven with his Big Bro Vinnie Paul and all the other great musicians that were all taken from us way too soon! If you ever get a chance to see band you love, take it because life is short! Music connects us all!
